Thus, the results of degustation and clinical tests have shown that amaranth oil has good organoleptical properties, is well-bearable, does not cause allergic reactions, phenomena of dispepsia or other side effects by its usage. Including of amaranth oil into the diet renders positive effect on clinical pattern of IIH, promotes intensifying of its hypotensive action by using of squalene dose 600 mg per day.

Application of amaranth oil on the background of antiatherogenous diet by patients with IIH with obesity causes more significant hypolipidemic effect which degree of expression is proportional to the dose of squalene. Including of amaranth oil containing 400 mg of squalene into the diet promotes increase of maintenance of PUFA, and, in particular, of long-chain acids of family omega 3 (docosapentaenic and docosahexaenic), and also decrease of SFA in erythrocytes' membranes of patients with IIH. Amaranth oil exponentiates antioxidant and immunomodulating action of antiatherogenous ration. Forgoing data testifies high expediency of usage of amaranth oil in treatment-and-prophylactic nutrition of patients with cardiovascular diseases.
